EXPERIENCE
- Lead author and editor in chief of the Textbook of Naturopathic Oncology: A desktop guide of integrative cancer care. This has now sold thousands of copies including every continent except antarctica.
- Author of the bestselling Arming the Immune System: The Incredible Power of Natural Immunity & the Fever Response.
- Brought the German Oncotherm modulated electrohyperthermia (mEHT), a regional hyperthermia technology, into both Canada and Mexico. A long process successfully applying for Health Canada and Mexican approval. Major achievement in my career as 9 other clinic sites across Canada, and two in Mexico, are now also offering mEHT for cancer patients,
- IHC has now completed >28,000 treatments with these devices, having collected data on every treatment and patient.
- Have published 5 and 8-year retrospective outcomes studies on survival times for patients who added mEHT to their standard of care and compared OS to SOC alone. The 8-year study was published in 2019 by Cambridge Scholars. We have shown a Significant improvement to OS in all 10 of the most seen stage 4 solid tumour entities.
- Now in the process of publishing our 10-year data, starting with GBM. This has been accepted for publication in a PubMed-indexed journal and is under editing.
- IHC is one of the 7 clinics recruited to participate in the prospective 4-year CUSIOS Trial (Canadian and US Integrative Oncology Study), which closed in 2020 and is nearing publication. This prospective multi-centre trial is looking at OS and QOL measures in 4 different cancer types (stage 4), colorectal, ovarian, breast and pancreatic adenocarcinomas.
- I am the director of a naturopathic oncology residency, having graduated many new FABNO’s.
- Recently opened a second clinic location 10 minutes from the US border to better serve all our American patients looking for our unique and tested integrative naturopathic treatment method.
